What to do in Ibiza: the island beyond the parties

Ibiza is famous for its nightlife, but the island that really wins people over is the daytime one: crystal-clear coves, a UNESCO World Heritage old town, hippy markets with decades of history and a countryside of white villages almost nobody expects. On this page we bring together the activities and excursions in Ibiza you can book with confirmed dates and prices.

If you are here for a few days, the classic balance works: a boat trip (coves you cannot reach by land, or a crossing to Formentera), a water activity such as snorkelling, kayaking or paddle boarding, and an experience on land — Dalt Vila, the markets, food, or sunset on the west coast. May, June, September and October offer pleasant temperatures, far quieter coves and better prices — for many visitors, the best time to come.

Are there activities in Ibiza for children?

Can I visit Formentera from Ibiza in a day?

Yes, it is one of the most popular excursions. The crossing is short and lets you spend the day on beaches such as Ses Illetes and return in the afternoon. You can do it on an organised trip or by chartering a boat, with or without a skipper.
